Music

Music has always been an important part of Llano’s history and is increasingly becoming a sought out music venue for all ages and all types of music.

Llano Country Opry

The Llano Country Opry comes to town each month bringing fans of traditional country rhythms from all over the state - and beyond, to fill the 400 seat historic LanTex Theater in downtown Llano! See Heart of Texas Country Music Association for a schedule of Llano performances, and to purchase tickets, call the Llano Visitor Center at 325-247-5354.

Fuel Coffee House

Fuel Coffee House hosts talented artists performing a variety of music genres throughout the year, and the third Thursday of each month is reserved for Songwriters in the Round, a gathering of talented singer/songwriters sharing their love for music with the best audience in the world! For the amazing talent seen on this stage, donations are welcome but there is no admission charged. See Fuel Coffee House for a schedule of live entertainment.

Llano has several other fantastic eateries which provide ongoing live entertainment. For schedules, see The Badu House, Buckhorn Hall, and Granite Top Bar & Grill.

In addition to the weekly entertainment mentioned above, Llano hosts festivals throughout the year, all which provide amazing musicians as part of the entertainment. But several of the events are music specific festivals:

Fiddle Fest Weekend:  April Event

The first weekend in April promises to get your toes tapping and your heart singing with an open fiddle contest for all ages, and an air fiddle contest for the brave.  Come experience the Power of the Bow! For more information on schedules and history of the event, go to Llano Fiddle Fest.

Mike Blakely's TexAmericana FanDango: May Event

Mike brought his famous FanDango to Llano for his 9th annual beginning in 2010. Set in the Robinson Park pavillion on the banks of the beautiful Llano River, more than 20 performers entertained festival goers over the weekend.
