The City of Llano is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to serve as the full-time Events Center & Arena Manager for the John L. Kuykendall Event Center & Arena.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Managing daily operations of the Event Center & Arena
Supervising staff, crews, and event setups/teardowns
Coordinating exhibitions, festivals, concerts, and equine events
Budget development and revenue management
Facility and equipment maintenance oversight
Providing outstanding customer service to event organizers and guests
Communicating event details, changes, and expenses with coordinators

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• At least 3 years of experience leading event setup and teardown crews
• Experience with exhibitions, festivals, concerts, or outdoor events
• Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
• Knowledge of venue and facility management
• Equine event experience is highly desirable
• Ability to obtain a Certified Manager of Equine Centers certification within 5 years

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience or certification in a directly related field
• Bachelor's degree and/or High School diploma/GED, plus experience in equipment operation and facility maintenance
• At least 2 years of professional management experience
• Valid Driver's License required

Schedule: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
